Hiking Day in Tabarz – Activity, Enjoyment and Team Spirit

On September 5, the entire WSD GmbH team went on a joint hiking trip in the beautiful surroundings of Bad Tabarz. The day began with a ride on the traditional Thüringerwaldbahn Line 4 from Gotha – a charming start to a special day.

From Tabarz we set off on foot towards the Rennsteig. Despite forecasts predicting otherwise, we enjoyed sunshine and pleasant temperatures. The trail was challenging: long ascents and equally demanding descents required stamina and perseverance.

Halfway along the route, we were rewarded with a hearty and delicious lunch in a cozy inn. Well-fed and content, we started our way back – with tired legs but in the best of spirits.

In total, we hiked about 12 kilometers through the forest, surrounded by nature and wide scenic views.

Our conclusion: nature, exercise, good food, and great conversations – a thoroughly successful day that strengthened not only our fitness but also our team spirit!
